What to Do When You Don't Feel Like Going to the Gym
I have to be honest. I've really struggled to want to workout these past 6 months. I don't particularly want to workout today. Do you ever feel like that? If you haven't, I'm going to assume you either just started working out within the last 3 months, you're a robot, or you're lying. Every normal person struggles with this. There comes a time when you don't want to workout. At this point you're left with a choice. Should you wait til you feel like it? Or should you workout? The real question you need to ask yourself is this: "Where do you want to be 3 months from now?" If you want to be stronger, leaner, and healthier you need to workout. It's no different from feeling unmotivated to go to work. You do it anyway because you still want to be employed 3 months from now! Don't treat your training any different. If you're serious about transforming your body, health, and lifestyle don't wait until you feel like it. Commit to the process, put in the work regardless of how you feel, and reap the benefits. Or...continue to be lazy, be in the same place 3 months from now, and be mad at yourself for not committing 3 months earlier. The choice is yours. Which will you choose?
